Markus Vinicius Nahas Award 2025

The Brazilian Journal of Physical Activity & Health (RBAFS) is pleased to announce the Markus Vinicius Nahas Award 2025, which will recognize the best articles published in Volume 29 (2024) of the journal.

The award values academic excellence and highlights significant contributions to the field of Physical Activity and Health, encouraging the advancement of scientific production.

The winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Section Editors’ vote: 30%
  • Readers’ vote: 30%
  • Article views and downloads: 30%
  • Likes on RBAFS Instagram posts: 10%

Deadline to participate: until October 25, 2025
Results announcement: during the Brazilian Congress of Physical Activity and Health (CBAFS 2025), in Recife, PE.

The winners will receive:

  • Award certificate (3 winners)
  • 2026 membership of the Brazilian Society of Physical Activity and Health (3 winners)
  • Waiver of the publication fee in RBAFS for the 1st place article (valid for articles accepted within the following two years)
